PROPOSED PARKING REVISION IN THE GROVE AND OXFORD ROAD

THE EALING (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201*

THE EALING (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO. *) TRAFFIC ORDER 201*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing Council, to improve access for refuse vehicles in The Grove and Oxford Road, propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Parking and Waiting Restriction Orders would be to (a) remove the permit holder parking place in The Grove located on the north side of road outside Nos. 85 and 87 and replace it with single yellow line waiting restrictions operating during the controlled zone hours and (b) remove a 4.5 metre length of the permit holder parking place in Oxford Road located on the east side at the side of No. 79 The Grove and replace it with double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions.

3. The general effect of the Prescribed Route Order would be to revoke and re-enact the Ealing (Prescribed Route) (No.5) Traffic Order 1982 so as to permit vehicles engaged in maintenance of the highway and refuse vehicles to use the gated closure area in The Grove under certain circumstances.

5. The proposed Orders, other documents including plans giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, are available by either e-mailing Highwayservices@ealing.gov.uk or for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

6. Any objections or other representations about any of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Highways Service, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL, quoting reference ORD 3868 until the 20th February 2015. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
