NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 9th September 2014 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling, which will come into operation on 22nd September 2014.

The effect of the Orders would be to:

• a introduce waiting and loading restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
• b formalise an existing Ambulance bay as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
• c remove 7m of parking space on the south side of Belmont Road, Beckenham at its easternmost end, adjacent to No. 342 Croydon Road and replace with ‘At Any Time’ waiting restrictions;
• d extend the Clock House, Beckenham Controlled Parking Zone (Zone 3) to include Hayne Road (and adjacent side roads) between Beckenham Road and Blakeney Road as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
• e remove the motorcycle bay outside No. 43 Hayes Street, Hayes and replace with/extend the existing ‘At Any Time’ waiting and loading restrictions by 3m;
• f amend the hours of operation of all Loading bays within High Street, Orpington Restricted Parking Zone from ‘At Any Time’ to Mondays to Saturdays inclusive between 8.30am and 6.30pm for any vehicle – maximum waiting time 30minutes with no return within 1 hour;
• g amend the hours of operation of the Loading bays within Bromley North Village Restricted Parking Zone (East Street and High Street only) from ‘At Any Time’ to Mondays to Saturdays inclusive between 8.30am and 6.30pm and Sundays between 10am and 5pm for any vehicle – maximum waiting time 15minutes with no return within 2 hours;
• h amend the Orpington parking places Order to reflect current parking spaces on-street.

A copy of the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Orders.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

GARDEN WALK, Beckenham, both sides, from the western kerbline of Hayne Road westwards to its extremity.
