The Department for Social Development has made a Statutory Rule entitled the Jobseeker’s Allowance (Schemes for Assisting Persons to Obtain Employment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014 (S.R. 2014 No. 150), which comes into operation on 2 June 2014.

This rule provides the legal framework for Jobseeker’s Allowance claimants ’ participation in the Department for Employment and Learning’s employment scheme “Steps 2 Success”.
