THE A12 TRUNK ROAD (LOWESTOFT NORTHERN SPINE ROAD, SUFFOLK) (TRUNKING AND DETRUNKING) ORDER 201
THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR TRANSPORT gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980 which will provide that a length of highway in Lowestoft shall become trunk road and a length of the A12 Trunk Road shall cease to be trunk road as from the date on which the Order comes into force.
COPIES of the draft Order and the plan referred to in it may be inspected free of charge at all reasonable hours from 30 May 2014 until 11 July 2014, or within 6 weeks from the date of first publication of this notice if that period expires later, at the offices of the Highways Agency, Woodlands, Manton Lane, Bedford, MK41 7LW; of Suffolk County Council principal office, Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich, IP1 2BX and Suffolk County Council Lowestoft office, Clapham House, Clapham Road, Lowestoft, NR32 1QX; and at Lowestoft Library, Clapham Road, Lowestoft, NR32 1DR.
ANY PERSON MAY OBJECT to the making of this Order not later than 11 July 2014, or within 6 weeks from the date of first publication of this notice if that period expires later, by notice to the Secretary of State for Transport at the offices of the Highways Agency, Woodlands, Manton Lane, Bedford, MK41 7LW. Any objection to an Order must give the grounds on which it is made. In the preparation of an objection and the statement of grounds of objection, it should be borne in mind that the substance of it may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.
