PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS AND CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990

DOWNSIDE VILLAGE CONSERVATION AREA (BOUNDARY EXTENSION)

Notice is given under the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, section 69, that Elmbridge Borough Council has reviewed the Downside Village Conservation Area and, following public consultation, determined on 25 March 2014 that the boundary of the conservation area be amended to include the areas to the north of the rear gardens of The Old School House, Rose Cottage and Appleyard Cottage, Cobbetts, the area to the east of Cobbett’s, Woodpecker Nurseries and the car park and area to the north of The Cricketers public house.

A map of the Downside Village Conservation Area, as amended, and the character appraisal and management plan document may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours at the offices of Planning Services, Elmbridge Borough Council, Civic Centre, High Street, Esher, Surrey, KT10 9SD or viewed on-line at: www.elmbridge.gov.uk/planning/heritage
