THE GREENWICH (EAST GREENWICH CPZ) (PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 2012
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Greenwich proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be:
(a) in Vanbrugh Park to remove 7.00 metres of free parking place outside Nos. 19 and 20 Vanbrugh Park and replace it with single yellow line waiting restrictions that would operate between 9.00 am and 6.30 pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive; and
(b) to remove No. 208 Trafalgar Road from the list of properties whose occupiers are eligible to purchase East Greenwich Controlled Parking Zone permits or visitors’ vouchers.
3. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Directorate of Regeneration, Enterprise and Skills, Strategic Transportation, Royal Borough of Greenwich, The Woolwich Centre, 35 Wellington Street London SE18 6HQ .

5. Any person who wishes to object to or make other representations about the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing by 18 September 2012, specifying the grounds on which any objection is made, to the Royal Borough of Greenwich, PO Box 485, Kemp House, 152-160 City Road, London EC1V 2NV (quoting reference PCL/TMO/JB/10297).
6. Persons objecting to either of the proposed Orders should be aware that, in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, this Council would be legally obliged to make any comments received in response to this notice open to public inspection.
