THE SECRETARY OF STATE hereby gives notice that she has made an Order under Legislation section: Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (South East) (No.16) Order 2012” authorising the stopping up of a length of the footway loop of Oxford Street which lies to the rear of the former petrol station forecourt of Young’s Garage at Woodstock, in the District of West Oxfordshire to enable the development to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Berkeley Homes (Oxford & Chiltern) Ltd by West Oxfordshire District Council on 8 July 2011 under reference 11/0153/P/FP and on 10 June 2011 under references 11/0154/P/LB & 11/0155/P/DCA.

COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, on application to the Secretary of State, addressed to the National Transport Casework Team, 2nd Floor, Lancaster House, Hampshire Court, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7YH (quoting reference NATTRAN/SE/S247/492) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Woodstock Library, Hensington Road, Woodstock, Oxon, OX20 1JL.

ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY THE ORDER and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 06 June 2012 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
