NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The general effect of the Orders would be to provide or remove redundant disabled parking bays for vehicles displaying a valid disabled Blue Badge at the following locations:

New disabled parking bays operational, at any time, for vehicles displaying a valid Blue Badge:

39 Abingdon Road N3, 139a Bell Lane NW4, 11 Birley Road N20, 49 Brookside EN4, 5 Colin Park Road NW9,

99 Fryent Grove NW9, 63 Fallow Court Avenue N12, 28 Haldane Close N10, 10 Northway Crescent NW7,

2 Oakwood Drive HA8, 17 Park Farm Close N2 and 205a Woodhouse Road N12.

The bays at 35 Algernon Road NW4, 60 Nether Street N12, 39a Redbourne Avenue N3 and 20 Rosemont Avenue N12 would be provided by converting existing parking places.

It is also proposed to remove the following redundant disabled parking bays and where noted convert to permit parking places:

21 Albert Road NW4, 253 Ballards Lane N3, 23 Bedford Road NW7, 35 Bertram Road NW4 (convert to resident permit parking space), 91 Bertram Road NW4 (convert to resident permit parking space), 60 Goldbeaters Grove HA8, 118 Holly Park Road N11, 51 Howard Close N11, 53 Naylor Road N20, 2 Powis Gardens NW11 (convert to resident permit parking space), 29 Princes Park Avenue NW11, 12 Strathmore Gardens N3 (convert to general permit parking space), 18 Sutton Crescent Barnet, 7 Whetstone Close N20, 65 Wilberforce Road NW9 (convert to resident permit parking space), 164 Willifield Way NW11, 73 Wilton Road N10 and 119 Woodcote Avenue NW7

A copy of the proposed Orders, plans of the relevant locations and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected between 9am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays (Public and Bank Holidays excepted) inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at:

  • a The Design Team, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London, N11 1NP.
  • b Hendon Town Hall, Reception, The Burroughs, Hendon, London, NW4 4BG.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a written statement explaining their objection to the Design Team, Building 4, North London Business Park,Oakleigh Road South, London, N11 1NP within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
