THE BEXLEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION)(AMENDMENT NO) TRAFFIC ORDER 20XX

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and Part 6 and Schedules 7 to 12 of the Traffic Management Act 2004, and all other enabling powers.
  • 2 The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No ) Traffic Order 20XX would be to further amend the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2009 to :-
    • a introduce additional “at any time” waiting restrictions at Perry Street in the vicinity of the United House development currently under construction, and
    • b introduce “at any time” waiting restrictions to provide corner protection at the junction between the un named road for the new development and Perry Street.
  • 3 Copies of the proposed Order, the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2009 (and the Orders that have amended that Order), the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and a plan indicating the length of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Contact Centre, Civic Offices, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB.

  • 5 Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objections and the grounds thereof, to Traffic and Parking Services, Wyncham House, 2 nd Floor, 207 Longlands Road, Sidcup DA15 7JH within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
  • 6 Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council would be legally obliged to make any comment received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection.
