THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (PARKING PLACES) (CPZ ‘M2’) (NO. 6) ORDER 2011, THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2011 AND THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING OUTSIDE SCHOOLS) (AMENDMENT NO. 14) TRAFFIC ORDER 2011

  • 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Southwark (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) on 03 March 2011 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
  • 2 The general effect of the Orders will be, to accommodate the construction of vehicular and pedestrian entrances to the new Walworth Academy:- (a) in DAWES STREET, to (i) remove a length of ‘School keep clear’ restrictions, (ii) to remove a ‘shared-use’ parking place, (iii) to extend a ‘shared-use’ parking place, and (iv) to introduce a new length of ‘At any time’ waiting restrictions; and (b) in TRAFALGAR STREET, to (i) relocate a length of ‘School keep clear’ restrictions, (ii) to remove a length of ‘shared-use’ parking place, and (iii) to extend a ‘shared-use’ parking place.
  • 3 Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 7 March 2011, and of all other relevant documents are available for inspection until the end of a period of six weeks from the date the Orders were made at the upon request at Road Network & Parking, Public Realm, 160 Tooley Street, London SE1 2TZ.   • 4 Any persons desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
