AMENDMENT TO PARKING PLACE AND FORMALISATION OF TAXI RANK WIMBLEDON PARK ROAD SW18
- 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under Legislation section: sections 6, Legislation section: 45, Legislation section: 46, Legislation section: 49 and Legislation section: 124 of and Legislation section: Part IV of Legislation section: Schedule 9 to the Legislation: Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Legislation: Local Government Act 1985 and the Legislation: Traffic Management Act 2004 —
• The Wandsworth (Prohibition of Stopping on Cab Ranks) (No.-) Order 20—
• The Wandsworth (Southfields) (Parking Places) (No. -) Order 20—
- 2 The general effect of the first Order would be to formalise the existing taxi rank on the west side of Wimbledon Park Road, outside Southfields Station. The general effect of the second Order would be to shorten the pay and display only parking bay on the west side of Wimbledon Park Road, outside Southfields Station, by 3.5 metres at its southern end, and extend it by 1 metre at its northern end in order to accommodate an extension to the adjacent bus stop.
- 3 Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Orders, including plans showing the location of the proposals, are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Concourse, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU . The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.

- 5 Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds on which it is made to the Director of Technical Services at the address below (quoting the reference ES/TMO1196) by 4th March 2011 .
