BASINGHALL AVENUE/BASINGHALL STREET/COLEMAN STREET – ADDITIONAL WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS
ALDERMANBURY/BASINGHALL STREET – RELOCATION OF DISABLED PERSONS AND MOTOR CYCLE BAYS
- 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Common Council of the City of London propose to make orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
- 2 The proposals are in connection with a street enhancement scheme in Basinghall Avenue and Basinghall Street.
- 3 The effect of the orders would be to:
- a prohibit waiting and loading at any time in the lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Notice;
- b remove the motor cycle bay in Basinghall Street and relocate it to a site in Aldermanbury currently occupied by Disabled Person’s parking bays; and
- c relocate the above Disabled Person’s parking bays to another site in Aldermanbury and in Basinghall Street.
- 4 A copy of the proposed orders, of the Common Councils statement of reasons for proposing to make the orders and of plans showing the affected streets can be inspected during normal office hours on Monday to Fridays inclusive within a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice was published at the Department of Planning and Transportation, Guildhall, London, EC2P 2EJ.
- 5 Further information may be obtained from the Department of Planning and Transportation at the above address or by telephone 0207 332 1108.
- 6 Persons desiring to object to the proposed measures should send a statement of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Planning and Transportation at the above address within the afore-mentioned period of 21 days quoting the reference P&T/LTP/PA.

Basinghall Avenue
- a the north side;
- b the south side, excluding the length which lies between a point 30 metres west of Coleman Street and a point 50 metres west of Coleman Street.
Basinghall Street
- a the north to south arm, between its junction with Basinghall Avenue southward for a distance of 15 metres;
- b the east to west arm, between its junction with Basinghall Avenue westward for a distance of 15 metres.
Coleman Street
the west side, between its junction with Basinghall Avenue southward for a distance of 7 metres.
