AUSTIN FRIARS SQUARE/BARTHOLOMEW LANE – DESIGNATION OF DISABLED PERSON’S PARKING BAYS
- 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Common Council of the City of London on 6 March 2009 made an order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
- 2 The effect of the order will be to designate a disabled person’s parking bay in Austin Friars Square and two disabled person’s parking bays in Bartholomew Lane. The bays will be free of charge and available for use at any time for City “Red” Badge Holders. “Blue” badge holders will be limited to a maximum stay of three hours on Mondays to Fridays.
- 3 A copy of the order, which will come into operation on 16 March 2009 and of a plan showing the affected street can be inspected during normal office hours on Monday to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the order was made at the Department of Planning and Transportation, Guildhall. London, EC2P 2EJ.
- 4 A copy of the order may be obtained from the above address or by telephoning the Department of Planning and Transportation, tel. 020 7332 1108.
- 5 Any person desiring to question the validity of the order or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which the order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
