THE BEXLEY (THE BEXLEYHEATH STATION AREA PARKING PLACES)(PARKING PLACES)(AMENDMENT NO….) TRAFFIC ORDER 200X

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bexley propose to make the above mentioned Order under sections 6, and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No…) Traffic Order 200X would be to further amend the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2007 would be:

(a) Introduce “At any time” waiting restrictions in parts of Barrington Road, Bexleyheath; Burr Close, Bexleyheath; Fairlawn Avenue, Bexleyheath; Garden Avenue, Bexleyheath; Holmesdale Road, Bexleyheath and Nursery Avenue, Bexleyheath, Palmar Crescent, Bexleyheath; Porthkerry Avenue, Welling; and Woolwich Road, Bexleyheath;

(b) Introduce waiting restrictions in parts of Barrington Road, Bexleyheath; Burr Close, Bexleyheath; Fairlawn Avenue, Bexleyheath; Garden Avenue, Bexleyheath; Holmesdale Road, Bexleyheath and Nursery Avenue, Belxeyheath, and Woolwich Road, Bexleyheath, Monday to Friday inclusive between 10.00 am – 12 noon;

(c) Introduce waiting restrictions between 8.30 am – 5.30 pm Monday to Saturday inclusive in parts of Woolwich Road, Bexleyheath;

(d) Also Introduce waiting restrictions between 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Mondays to Saturdays inclusive in parts of Porthkerry Avenue, Welling.

3. The general effect of the Bexley (Bexleyheath Station Area)(Parking Places)(Amendment No…) Traffic Order 200X would be to introduce free parking bays in Barrington Road and Fairlawn Avenue, Bexleyheath.

4. Copies of the proposed Orders, the Bexley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Traffic Order 2007 (and the Orders that have amended that Order); the Bexley (Bexleyheath Station Area)(Parking Places) Traffic Order 1998 (and the Orders which have amended that Order); the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders, and of a map which indicates the length of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected until the expiration of 21 days from the date of this Notice during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at The Contact Centre, Civic Offices, The Broadway, Bexleyheath, Kent DA6 7LB.

6. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objections and the grounds thereof, to Traffic and Road Safety Group, Wyncham House, 2nd Floor, 207 Longlands Road, Sidcup DA15 7JH within the above 21 days.

7. Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council would be legally obliged to make any comment received in response to this Notice, open to public inspection.
