NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers
In order to prevent obstructive parking, improve traffic flow and general road safety, the general effect of the Waiting and Loading Order would be to introduce new waiting restrictions in the borough, as follows.
At any time waiting restrictions would be provided around the junctions of:
Millway and Goodwyn Avenue, NW7 (by upgrading the existing Monday to Friday 11am to midday waiting restrictions); Deansbrook Road and Pavilion Way, Edgware; Moss Hall Grove and Burnbrae Close, N12; Hillview Gardens and Bell Lane, NW4; Chanctonbury Way and Lullington Garth and Walmington Fold and Argyle Road, N12 (by upgrading the existing Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm waiting restrictions); Sedgemere Avenue and Manor Park Road, N2; Wessex Gardens and The Ridgeway, NW11; Vicarage Road and Dartmouth Road, NW4 (by upgrading the existing Monday to Friday 10am to 11am waiting restrictions); Vicarage Road and Bertram Road, NW4 (by upgrading the existing Monday to Friday 10am to 11am waiting restrictions); Vicarage Road and Elliot Road and Audley Road, NW4 (by upgrading the existing Monday to Friday 10am to 11am waiting restrictions); Elliot Road and Sevington Road, NW4 (by upgrading the existing Monday to Friday 11am to 12midday waiting restrictions); Longmore Avenue and Monks Avenue, East Barnet;
At any time waiting restrictions would be provided on certain lengths of:
Deansbrook Road, Edgware; Green Bank, N12; Tenterden Gardens NW4; Bells Hill, Barnet; Oakfields Road, NW11; Golders Green Road, NW11; Allandale Avenue, N3; Baxendale, N20; Wellside Close, Barnet; Irving Way, NW9; Hampstead Way, NW11 (new restrictions and by upgrading existing Monday to Friday 11am to midday waiting restrictions)
At any time loading restrictions would be provided on certain lengths of Hampstead Way, NW11.
The North Finchley On-Street Orders would:
1. reduce the length of a resident permit parking place in Green Bank, N12 in order to prevent obstructive parking and improve the free movement of vehicles in the road;
2. extend the length of a resident permit parking place opposite Nos. 22 to 26 Avondale Avenue, N12 in order to improve the parking opportunity for resident permit holders and visitor voucher holders in the vicinity;
3. convert the free parking place outside Dunbar Court, Woodside Grange Road, N12 to a resident permit parking place in order to improve the parking opportunity for resident permit holders and visitor voucher holders in the vicinity.
The Mill Hill On-Street Order would provide a resident permit parking place outside Chasewood Court, Hale Lane, NW7 in order to improve the parking opportunity for resident permit holders and visitor voucher holders in the vicinity.
The Golders Green On-Street Order would:
1. remove the resident permit parking place outside No.1 Hampstead Way, NW11, which would be replaced by at any time waiting and loading restrictions, in order to improve traffic flow on Hampstead Way.
2. reduce the length of the free parking place opposite No. 1 Hampstead Way, NW11, in order to improve traffic flow on Hampstead Way.
3. convert the free parking place on Hampstead Way, NW11 opposite Mountview Close, to a resident permit parking place in order to compensate for the loss of parking outlined in (1) above. It is also proposed to reduce the length of this parking place in order to improve traffic flow on Hampstead Way.
A copy of the proposed Orders, a plan of the relevant areas and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published at:
a) Design Team, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London, N11 1NP
b) The Information Centre, The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London, NW4 4BG

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a written statement explaining their objection to the Design Team at the above address within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
