STOPPING UP OF A LENGTH OF HIGHWAY IN THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF ST HELENS

THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR TRANSPORT gives notice that on the application of Casey Brothers, she has made an Order under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping Up of Highways (Metropolitan Borough of St. Helens) (No. 6) Order 2007, authorising the stopping up of a length of unnamed highway adjacent to 173 Boundary Road, St. Helens.

THIS STOPPING UP ORDER is permanent and has been authorised to allow the development described in the planning permission granted to Mr J Anand of Casey Brothers by St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council on 2nd April 2007 under reference P/2007/0064.

COPIES OF THE ORDER MAY BE OBTAINED, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the North West (Planning Casework), City Tower, Piccadilly Plaza, Manchester M1 4BE (quoting reference GO/TNW5093/35/1/24). It may also be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of St Helens MBC, Town Hall, Victoria Square, St Helens.

ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY THE ORDER and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the power of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any Regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 26th July 2007, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
