THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 270) ORDER 2007
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 23rd May 2007 made the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce double yellow line “at any time” waiting restrictions on the Westminster side of Gresse Street;
(a) on the entire south-eastern side of Gresse Street; and
(b) on the south-western side of Gresse Street – from its junction with the north-western arm of Gresse Street south-eastwards for a distance of 26 metres (toward Birkbeck College).
3. The Order, which will come into force on 28th May 2007 and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6AJ, until 6th July 2007.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 6th July 2007.
