THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 268) ORDER 2007

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 9th May 2007 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:

(a) extend the existing residents’ parking place opposite No. 7 Greenwell Street in a south-westerly direction for 7.6 metres toward Bolsover Street, and in addition to this Order;

(b) remove the existing ambulance parking bay on Greenwell Street (opposite Great Titchfield Street); and

(c) correct anomalies between existing Orders and on-street markings.

4. The Orders, which will come into force on 14th May 2007, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at West One, 59 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6AJ, until 22nd June 2007.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 22nd June 2007.
