1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames on 27th November 2006 made the following Order under section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985: - * The Kingston upon Thames (20 mph Speed Limit) (No. 9) Traffic Order 2006; 2. The general effect of the Order, would be to formalise the 20 mph speed limit in the following roads:- * Avondale Avenue * Downfield * Forest Side * Fullbrooks Avenue * Highdown * Keble Close * Lady Hay * Leyfield * Manor Close * Manor Way * Paddock Close * Perry How * Tamesis Gardens * The Glebe * The Hollands * The Manor Drive 3. The Order, which will come into force on December 4th 2006, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan showing the location and effect of the restrictions, are available for inspection until 8th January 2007 at: * the 2nd Floor Reception Area, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU between 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive; * Old Malden Library, Church Road, Worcester Park, KT4 7RD during normal opening hours. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 8th January 2007.
