NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECTION 88
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 to the Water Resources Act 1991, that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Thames Water Utilities Limited for consent S/WR 2595 to discharge 2,600 cubic metres per day of trade effluent comprising potable water to ground via a borehole at National Grid Ref TQ 4376 7576 from Rochester Way, Eltham, London SE9. Proposed discharge: This application is for the discharge of treated potable water directly to the aquifer as part of a trial to assess the storage potential of the aquifer for drinking water supplies. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to Joanne Leverick, The Environment Agency, Swift House, Frimley Business Park, Camberley, Surrey GU16 7SQ, not later than 14 December 2006, quoting reference S/WR 2595. Please be aware that any representation may be made available to third parties under the Freedom of Information Act or Environmental Information Regulations 2004. A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge at the Environment Agency address above, between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays).
