NEW ROADS AND STREET WORKS ACT 1991, SECTION 58

NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL WORKS FOR ROAD PURPOSES

1. Three months’ advance notice is hereby given that Transport for London intends to carry out substantial works for road purposes. 2. The road in which these works will take place is the A205 Westhorne Avenue in Lewisham, between the junction with Baring Road and the junction with Woodyates Road. 3. TfL Ref SPST-TO-S58/2006/025. 4. Work is expected to affect the carriageway. 5. Work is expected to commence on 1 November 2006. 6. Work is expected to be completed on 1 April 2007. 7. The works will include the following: Resurfacing for the whole width of the carriageway and anti-skid works at the location noted in 2 above. 8. Subject to the exemptions in the Act and regulations under it, no street works may be executed for a period of 12 months from completion of the works described in paragraph 7 without consent of Transport for London, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
