TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF PROPOSALS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF A LOCAL PLAN
WINCHESTER DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN REVIEW
On 7 July 2006, Winchester City Council adopted these proposals. The adopted proposals
will form the development plan for the area of Winchester City Council. The development
plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.
Copies of the adopted plan are available for inspection at Avalon House, Chesil Street,
Winchester SO23 0HU from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, Mondays to Fridays and the following
County Libraries (available during normal opening days/hours):
Broad Street, Alresford; Bank Street, Bishops Waltham; Swan Centre, Eastleigh; Osborn
Road, Fareham, Meridian Centre, Havant; Wavell Way, Stanmore; The Precinct, Waterlooville;
and North Walls (reference library), Winchester.
The plan came into operation on its adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals
who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the
powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any
requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with
in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 13 July 2006,
make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
