THE HARINGEY (GOODS VEHICLES) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO. 6) ORDER 2006
1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey, hereinafter called the Council, on 15 June 2006 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 84(1) (a) & (2) and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Haringey (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 32) Order 2006 would be to further amend the Haringey (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (No.1) Order 2004 so that waiting by vehicles would be prohibited along certain lengths of Bounds Green Road, London N22, High Road, London N22, Summerhill Road, London N15, Elizabeth Place, London N15, Shepherd’s Close, London N6 and Clyde Road, London N15. Details of exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the Original Order of 2004. 3. The general effect of the Haringey (20 mph Speed Limit) (No. 24) Order 2006 would be that no person shall drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour on any lengths of Bourn Avenue, London N15, Mansfield Avenue, London N15, Dorset Road, London N15, Summerhill Road, London N15, Elizabeth Place, London N15 and Bedford Road, London N15. 4. The general effect of the Haringey (Goods Vehicles) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 6) Traffic Order 2004 would be to further amend the Haringey (Goods Vehicles) (Special Parking Area)(No.1) Traffic Order 2003 and to introduce Goods Vehicles parking places in Summerhill Road, London N15. 5. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 19 June 2006, the Council’s statement of reason for making the Orders and plans showing the locations and effects of the Orders may be inspected during a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, during normal office working hours at Traffic and Road Safety, River Park House, 1st Floor (South), 225 High Road, Wood Green, London N22 8HQ. 6. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the making of the Orders, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
