STOPPING-UP OF A LENGTH OF HIGHWAY (INCLUDING FOOTWAY) ADJACENT TO PATTERSONS, REDCLIFF STREET, REDCLIFF, BRISTOL

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (City of Bristol) (No SW4) Order 2006” authorising the stopping-up of a length of highway (including footway) adjacent to Pattersons, Redcliff Street, Redcliff, Bristol, to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission referred to in that Schedule and requiring the provision of improved highway at Redcliff Street.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the South West, The Planning Team, 1st Floor, 2 Rivergate, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6EH, (telephone 0117 900 1896), quoting Ref SW/THM/8247/274 and/or may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Planning Services, Ground Floor, Bristol City Council, Brunel House, St George’s Road, Bristol BS1 5UY.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of 19 May 2006 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.

Outline application for the erection of new buildings for mixed use development comprising residential (Class C3), serviced apartments (Sui Generis), office (Class B1), workspace (Class B1), retail (Class A1), restaurant/bar uses (Class A3), creche (Class D1), doctor’s surgery (Class D1) and leisure space (Class D2) together with ancillary access and servicing arrangements in accordance with outline planning permission granted to Crown Dilmun (Redcliff Village) Ltd by Bristol City Council on 20 May 2005, under Ref 02/01862/P.
