ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE LONDON BOROUGH OF ISLINGTON (BUS PRIORITY) TRAFFIC ORDER 1999 A503 GLA VARIATION ORDER 2006
1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 4 January 2006, it made the above-named Order, under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 16 January 2006. 2. The general nature and effect of the Order is to introduce withflow bus lanes for use by buses, pedal cycles and taxis as follows: (a) 7.00 am to 7.00 pm, south-west bound in Isledon Road and Tollington Road; (b) 7.00 am to 7.00 pm, north-east bound in Parkhurst Road and Seven Sisters Road; and (c) at any time, south-west bound in Camden Road. 3. The roads affected by the Order are Camden Road (A503), Isledon Road (A503), Parkhurst Road (A503), Seven Sisters Road (A503) and Tollington Road (A503) in the London Borough of Islington. 4. A copy of the Order, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of: Transport for London, Traffic Orders Section, Road Network Development, Faith Lawson House, 15-17 Dacre Street, London SW1H 0NR; and London Borough of Islington, 222 Upper Street, Islington, London N1 1YA. 5. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
