NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 to the Water Resources Act 1991, that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Bridgend County Borough Council for new consent No BP0351601 to discharge 256.6 cubic metres per day of trade effluent—temporary site drainage to control surface run-off during engineering works, and to undertake the Ogmore Vale Washery Land Reclamation Scheme to Ogwr Fawr at National Grid Ref SS 9367 8879 from Ogmore Vale Washery Site. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to Michelle Price, the Environment Agency, Llys Afon, Hawthorn Rise, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire SA61 2BQ, not later than 2 December 2005, quoting Ref BP0351601. Please be aware that any representation may be made available to third parties under the Freedom of Information Act. A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the Environment Agency address above, between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays).
