THE ISLINGTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO 32) ORDER 2005

ZONE E CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE—MATCHDAY CONTROLS

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Islington on 26 August 2005 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Order will be: (a) in the roads referred to in the Schedule to this notice, to extend the hours during which the existing Zone E Controlled Parking Zone operates so that it will operate between 8.30 am and 6.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive that are non match days, between 8.30 am and 1.30 pm on Saturdays that are non match days, between 8.30 am and 8.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive that are match days, between 8.30 am and 4.30 pm on Saturdays that are match days and between 12.00 noon and 4.30 pm on Sundays and Bank holidays that are match days; and (b) to make certain other changes to amend drafting errors in the existing Zone E Controlled Parking Zone Order and to bring it in line with the on-street layout. 4. The Orders which will come into force on 30 September 2005 and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours until 7 October 2005 at the following location: Street Management, The Municipal Offices, 222 Upper Street, London NI 1YA. Further information may be obtained by telephoning Parking Projects on extension 020 7527 8025. 5. Any person who desires to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to either of the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 7 October 2005.
