PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER REGULATION 10 OF THE POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2000
INTEGRATED POLLUTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL
Notice is hereby given that Blagden Packaging NV has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permit to operate an installation involving the storage, incineration and remanufacture of emptied 45-gallon steel drums for the purposes of steel drum reconditioning. The installation is located at Avonmouth Way West, Avonmouth, Bristol BS11 9HD in the district of Bristol, county of Avon. The application contains a description of any foreseeable significant effects of emissions from the installation on the environment. Information relating to the above IPPC application for a permit to operate the Avonmouth Drum Incineration Plant of Blagden Packaging is held in registers at the following locations: Environment Agency Office: Authorisations Team, Rivers House, East Quay, Bridgwater TA6 4YS; and Local Authority: Bristol City Council, Pollution Control Department, 3rd Floor, Brunel House, St Georges Road, Bristol BS1 5UY. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above-stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon the payment of a reasonable charge to cover the costs of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPPC application should be made in writing to the Environment Agency at the address below, within 28 days from the date of this public notice. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request.
