NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that The Longwood Water Company Limited of 25 St Thomas Street, Winchester, Hampshire SO23 9DD is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence Serial No 31/093 to abstract water from chalk underground strata at National Grid Ref SU 5401 2530 at Honeyman’s Farm, Longwood, near Owslebury, Winchester, Hampshire. The variation being applied for is an increase in the annual abstraction licence of 1,000 (one thousand) cubic metres a year from 25,000 cubic metres to 26,000 cubic metres. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Longwood View, Lane End, Owslebury, Winchester, Hampshire SO21 1JZ between 29 November 2004 and 31 December 2004. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Team Leader Water Resources, Colvedene Court, Wessex Way, Colden Common, Winchester, Hampshire SO21 1WP before the end of the said period.
