STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAY, LAND AT TEHIDY ROAD, CAMBORNE
Notice is hereby given that the Cornwall County Council as Highway Authority propose to apply to the Justices sitting in the Petty Sessional Division of West Cornwall at the Magistrates Court, The Basset Centre, Basset Road, Camborne, on Thursday 14 October 2004, at 12.15 pm, for an Order under the provisions of section 116 of the Highways Act 1980 authorising the stopping-up of an area of highway land at Tehidy Road, Camborne (Class 3), comprising approximately 250 square metres of the highway verge adjacent to (and presently forming part of the garden and cornish hedge of) the property known as “Ankorva Salow”, the County Council being of the opinion that the said area of highway land is unnecessary. A plan showing the effect of the proposed Order may be inspected, free of charge, at Room 471, County Legal Services, New County Hall, Treyew Road, Truro TR1 3AY and at the offices of the Head of Service (Engineering), Kerrier District Council, Dolcoath Avenue, Camborne TR14 8SX, from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm, and 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm, Mondays to Fridays inclusive (except Bank and Public Holidays). Further information may be obtained by telephoning (01872) 322000, extension 2348. Any person who uses the highway and any other person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order has a right to attend the Court and be heard on the application, and anyone intending to do so should inform the undersigned at the Truro address above, indicating the nature of his representations.
