THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (PARKING PLACES) (NO 21) ORDER 2004
GERALD ROAD AND SEMLEY PLACE

1. Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council on 21 April 2004 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order will be to further amend the City of Westminster (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2002 so as to relocate the solo motorcycle parking bay in Gerald Road to Semley Place. 3. The general effect of the Parking Places Order will be: (a) relocate a residents parking place in Semley Place to the north-west side of Gerald Road to replace the motorcycle parking; (b) to provide that, in respect of the residents’ parking places, the classes of vehicles for which it will be available, the hours of operation and all time limits will remain unchanged. 4. The Orders will come into force for the purposes of the placing of traffic signs, etc on 23 April 2004 and into force for all other purposes on 26 April 2004. 5. The Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Mouchel Parkman, Third Floor, Mountbarrow House, 6-20 Elizabeth Street, London SW1W 9RB, until 2 June 2004. 6. Any person desiring to question the validity of either of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to either of the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 2 June 2004.
