THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) EXPERIMENTAL TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER 2004/005
NOTICE TO MAKE A TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Southwark made the above-mentioned Order under sections 9 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The general effect of the Order will be to: (a) Re-define areas of “At Any Time” waiting and loading restrictions for defined areas of Spurling Road, Crawthew Grove, Worlingham Road, Frogley Road, Nutfield Road, Crystal Palace Road, Archdale Road, North Cross Road, Lacon Road, Solway Road, Oakhurst Road, Ferris Road, Tyrrell Road, Shawbury Road, Hansler Road, Bawdale Road, Fellbrigg Road, Ulverscroft Road, Whateley Road, Darrll Road, Hindmans Road, Upland Road, The Gardens, Kelmore Grove. 3. While the Order is in force the Council, or any person authorised by them, may modify or suspend the Order or any provisions in it if it appears essential to do so for certain purposes. 4. Within the period of 18 months from the coming into force of the Order, or if the Order is subsequently varied by another Order, or modified, from the coming into force of that variation or modification (whichever is the latest), any person may object to the making of an Order to continue indefinitely those provisions. Any such objections/comments must be made in writing, giving the grounds on on which it is made, and sent to Hayden Tuck at Transport Group, Chiltern House, Portland Street, London SE17 2ES, quoting Ref 2004/005. 5. A copy of the Order, a statement of the Council’s reasons for the proposals and for proceeding by way of experiment, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Southwark Transport Group, Chiltern House, Portland Street, London SE17 2ES. 6. The documents will be available for inspection during the period within which objection can be made in accordance with paragraph 4 above. 7. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers or that any of the relevant requirements have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
