NEW ROADS AND STREET WORKS ACT 1991, SECTION 58

NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL ROAD WORKS

1. Three months advance notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Tower Hamlets intends to carry out substantial road works. 2. The street in which the works will take place is: Coldharbour, London E14 from the junction with Manager Street, London E14 to a point in line with the western boundary wall of No 31 Coldharbour, London E14. 3. Work is expected to affect the area of carriageway from the junction with Manager Street to a point in line with the western boundary wall of No 31 Coldharbour. 4. Work is expected to commence on 30 September 2003 or 6 October 2003 (depending on the date of publication) and is expected to take approximately 10 weeks. 5. (a) The area of work will be defined as the area of carriageway for the full length between the junction with Manager Street to a point in line with the western boundary of wall No 31 Coldharbour. The area of work will be defined as the area of carriageway for the full width from the junction with Manager Street to a point in line with the western boundary wall of 31 Coldharbour. (b) The works notified will include complete resurfacing of the carriageway and reconstruction as necessary. 6. Subject to the exemptions in the Act and Regulations under it, no street works may be executed for a period of 12 months from completion of the works described in paragraph 5 without the consent of the said Highway Authority, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
