NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act
1991, that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Mr P Soar, for
consent to discharge 13.4 cubic metres per day of treated sewage effluent from a housing
development at Tidmarsh Grange, Tidmarsh, near Pangbourne, Berkshire, to the River
Pang at National Grid Ref SU 635 744.
Details of the proposals are contained in the register held by the Agency at its
offices at Isis House, Howbery Park, Crowmarsh Gifford, Wallingford, Oxfordshire,
and may be inspected, free of charge, from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday inclusive.

and 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday inclusive.
Any person who wishes to make representations or objections with respect to the application
should do so, in writing, to the Team Leader, Regulatory (Water Quality), The Environment
Agency, Thames Region, West Area, Isis House, Howbery Park, Wallingford, Oxfordshire
OX10 8BD, quoting Ref W/WR 709, not later than 8 August 2003.

The Environment Agency is committed to maintaining and, where possible, improving
water quality. If, after full consideration of this application and any representations
made by interested parties, it is decided that consent can be given, then conditions
will be imposed to ensure that the effluent receives treatment before discharge to
the receiving waters so that the above aims are met.
