NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that C N Starling Ltd, of Primrose Hill Farm, Pymore, Little Downham, Cambridgeshire CB6 2EJ, are applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence of right number 6/33/26/38/9 to abstract water from main drains and farm dykes, for spray irrigation purposes, within the Littleport and Downham Internal Drainage Board at Primrose Hill, Bridge and Northfield Farms, Pymore, Little Downham, Cambridgeshire. The variation applied for is to: 1. include additional parcels of land and abstraction points at: Primrose Hill, Bridge and Northfield Farms, Pymore; Primrose Hill Farm, Hale Fen Road, Littleport; Sonrose Farm, Mile End Road, Prickwillow; and at, between and contiguous to, National Grid References: TL 557 921; TL 564 907 and TL 568 902; TL 601 860; TL 599 858; TL 616 854 and TL 618 852;TL 610 857 and TL 614 852; TL 603 859 and TL 597 849 and TL 610 845; TL 601 857 and TL 605 855 and TL 602 845; TL 608 849; TL 612 851; in the parishes of Little Downham, Littleport and Ely Holy Trinity; in the district of East Cambridgeshire, in the county of Cambridgeshire. 2. increase the hourly, daily and yearly abstraction rates to 300 cubic metres, 4,964 cubic metres and 10,818 cubic metres respectively and extend the abstraction period. This variation is a consequence of the amalgamation of the licence of right 6/33/39/3/3 and expiry of supplementary licence number 6/33/26/S/316 (incorporating numbers 6/33/39/S/317 and 6/33/47/S/134), to the above. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Primrose Hill Farm, Pymore, Little Downham, Cambridgeshire CB6 2EJ; and Flanders Farm, Mildenhall Road, Littleport, Cambrideshire CB7 4SY, between 2 August 2002 and 1 September 2002. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Central Area, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE18 8NE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
