NOTICE OF ARRANGEMENTS LEADING TO A PUBLIC LOCAL INQUIRY INTO A LOCAL PLAN
STEVENAGE DISTRICT PLAN SECOND REVIEW
The public local inquiry into the Stevenage District Plan, Second Review will be conducted by the Inspector, Mr Ces Cunningham. The inquiry will open at the Arts and Leisure Centre, Lytton Way, in Stevenage town centre, on 10 September 2002, at 10.00 am. The purpose of the inquiry is to enable the Borough Council to have objections to the plan examined by an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions. The objectives are to find out the relevant facts and arguments and for the Inspector to report to the Borough Council, giving an opinion on the merits of the evidence and making recommendations about modifications to the plan. The Inspector is holding a pre-inquiry Meeting at the Arts and Leisure Centre, Lytton Way, in Stevenage town centre, on 19 June 2002, at 10.00 am, to discuss the programme and the timetable for the inquiry. The Meeting will also deal with any queries about the way in which the proceedings are to be conducted. All parties who ‘duly made’ representations at first deposit (1999) or revised deposit (2001) stages are invited to attend the pre-inquiry Meeting.
