THE ISLINGTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO 18) ORDER 2002
1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Islington, on 9 May 2002 made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The general effect of the Islington (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) Consolidation Order 2001, so that waiting and loading by vehicles will be prohibited during the times and on the lengths of road shown in the Schedule to this notice. 3. Copies of the Order, which will come into force on 10 May 2002, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the following location: Transport and Design, PO Box 3333, 222 Upper Street, Islington, London N1 1YA. 4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court. G Loveland, Head of Planning and Transportation Schedule At any time: Liverpool Road, the west and south-west side, between the southern kerbline of Ritchie Street and the northern kerbline of Chapel Market; Liverpool Road, the east and north-east side, between the southern kerbline of Bromfield Street and a point 18 metres north-west of the western kerbline of Upper Street. Between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive: Liverpool Road, the west and south-west side, between the southern kerbline of Chapel Market and a point 20 metres north-west of the north-western kerbline of Islington High Street. 9 May 2002.
