THE EALING (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING) AREA (AMENDMENT NO 137) ORDER 2002
(NOTICE OF MAKING)

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, hereinafter called the Council, on 15 March 2002, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985, and the Road Traffic Act 1991. 2. The general effect of the Order will be to further amend the Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (No 1) Order 1994, so as to impose waiting and loading restrictions, operative at any time, in order to accommodate proposed footway parking, on the lengths of Lady Margaret Road specified in the Schedule to this notice; Details of exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order of 1994. 3. A copy of the proposed Order, which will come into operation on 18 March 2002, of the Order being amended, of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order and a plan showing the locations and effects of the Order may be inspected during a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Parkman Consultancy, Transportation Section, 22-24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP. Copies of the Order may be purchased at this address. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
