NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Fathers Field Developments Limited, t/a Colne Valley Golf Club, of Station Road, Earls Colne, Colchester CO6 2LT, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from inland water known as River Colne, at National Grid Ref TL 8530 2980, at Colne Valley Golf Club, Station Road, Earls Colne, Colchester CO6 2LT. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 123 cubic metres per day and 12,000 cubic metres per year, all year. The water will be used for filling a reservoir for subsequent spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Colne Valley Golf Club House, between 15 February 2002 and 28 February 2002. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglia Region, Eastern Area, Cobham Road, Ipswich IP3 9JE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
