HIGHWAYS ACT 1980—STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAY
LAND AT HEOL GLANNANT BETTWS
Notice is hereby given that on 14 January 2002, Bridgend County Borough Council, as Highway Authority, will make application to the Magistrates Court sitting at Port Talbot pursuant to the provisions of section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, for an Order to stop up for the purposes of all traffic the undermentioned area of highways situated at Heol Glannant Bettws, in the County Borough of Bridgend. Description of Highway to be stopped up That part of the highway known as Heol Glannant, Bettws, comprising a triangular area of the verge and footways from a point at the back of its north-eastern footway lying some 95 metres north of its junction with the highway known as Y Wern, for a distance of 42 metres to a point at the back of the same footway measured to follow approximately the curve of the edge of carriageway and extending to an apex at a point 23 metres north-east of the middle point of this curve. Any person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order to be applied for has the right to be heard on the making of this application and for this purpose may attend at the Magistrates Court, Cranic Way, Port Talbot, on 14 January 2002, at 10.00 am.
