NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Clubhavs plc of Nizels Georgian House, Nizels Lane, Hildenborough,
Kent TN11 8NT, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water
from Underground Strata (chalk) in Parish of Graveley, North Hertfordshire at National
Grid Ref TL 241 291 at Parish of Graveley (borehole) North Hertfordshire.
The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 5,000 cubic metres per
year, between 1 April and 31 October each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation
during spring and summer months only.
A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it
may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours between 3 December 2001
and 3 January 2002.
Any person wishing to make representations about the application should do so in
writing to the Environment Agency, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon PE28 4NE,
before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
