STOPPING-UP OF AN AREA OF HIGHWAY AT YEOMAN WAY, TROWBRIDGE, IN THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE

The Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Wiltshire) (No SW2) Order 2001” authorising the stopping-up of an area of highway at Yeoman Way, Trowbridge, in the county of Wiltshire, to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission referred to in that Schedule.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the South West, Decisions Team, 4th Floor, The Pithay, Bristol BS1 2PB (quoting Ref SW/THM/8247/104), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of West Wiltshire District Council, Bradley Road, Trowbridge.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of 19 September 2001, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.

Erection of 77 dwellings, garages and associated siteworks on land at Yeoman Way, Trowbridge, in accordance with planning permission granted to Newland Homes (formerly Lynch and Rinn Developments Ltd), by West Wiltshire District Council on 7 March 2001, under Ref 99/01663/FUL.
