THE GREENWICH (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 78) ORDER 2000

Notice is hereby given that Greenwich Council, hereinafter called the Council, on 1st March 2000, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. 2. The effect of the Order will be: (a) to impose waiting restrictions operative at any time on the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this notice; (b) to impose waiting restrictions operative between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive on those lengths of Duke Humphrey Road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice. Details of exemptions from the restrictions for certain vehicles and persons, together with restrictions on selling or advertising in a restricted street are contained in the original Order of 1994. 3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 6th March 2000, and a copy of the Order being amended, together with the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order, and a plan showing the location and effect of the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Engineering Services, Greenwich Council, Peggy Middleton House, 50 Woolwich New Road, Woolwich, London SE18 6HQ, and copies of the Order may be obtained from that address. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court. Schedule 1 Warspite Road: (a) the east side, between the northern kerb-line of Bowater Road and the northern extremity of Warspite Road; (b) the west side, (i) between the northern kerb-line of Bowater Road and a point 60 metres north of that kerb-line; (ii) between the northern extremity of Warspite Road and a point 10 metres south of that extremity. Duke Humphrey Road: between the south-eastern kerb-line of Charlton Way and a point 10 metres south-east of that kerb-line. Schedule 2 Duke Humphrey Road, between a point 10 metres south-east of the south-eastern kerb-line of Charlton Way and its junction with Shooters Hill Road. 1st March 2000.
