NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Flamingoland Ltd, of The Rectory, Kirby Misperton, Malton, North Yorkshire YO17 6UX, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from The Costa Beck, at National Grid Reference SE 7802 8023, in the parish of Kirby Misperton, Ryedale District of North Yorkshire. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 45 cubic metres per hour, 1,000 cubic metres per day, 365,000 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for maintaining a flow through various zoo water features. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the above address between 17th February 2000 and 16th March 2000. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Licensing Section, Dales Area, Coverdale House, Aviator Court, Clifton Moor, York YO30 4GZ, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
