THE A303 TRUNK ROAD (SPARKFORD TO PODIMORE) (50 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 1999

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made this Order on 1st December 1999, coming into force on 3rd December 1999, on the A303 Trunk Road between Sparkford and Podimore in the District of South Somerset, in the county of Somerset. The notice of the proposal to make it (Ref. HA 028/003/0000222) was published in Issue No. 55598 of The London Gazette on 2nd September 1999 and the effect of the Order is as described in the notice. A copy of the made Order and a plan illustrating the proposal may be inspected during office hours at the offices of South Somerset District Council, East Area Office, Churchfield, Wincanton, at Sparkford Post Office, Richard White Garage, Sparkford and at West Camel Post Office, The Green, West Camel. They may also be obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Project Services Operations (South West), Room 414, Tollgate House, Houlton Street, Bristol BS2 9DJ, quoting Ref. HA 028/003/000022. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act, or of regulations made thereunder, has not been complied with in relation to that Order, may, within 6 months from 1st December 1999 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or any provisions contained therein.
