THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND-UPON-THAMES WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO. ) TRAFFIC ORDER 1999
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames propose to make the above-named Order under section 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce waiting restrictions applying at any time in the streets or lengths of street specified in the Schedule to this notice. Copies of the draft Order, of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of a plan showing the road or lengths or road affected by the Order may be inspected at: (a) the Civic Centre, (2nd Floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham, between the hours of 9.15 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays; or (b) the Central Reference Library, Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond. Persons desiring to object to the proposals should write to the Head of Highways and Transport, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ, within 21 days of the date of this notice, giving the grounds of their objection. Schedule (a) Pope’s Avenue, Strawberry Hill, between its junction with Wellesley Road and a point 4 metres north of the northern boundary of No. 3 Popes Avenue. (b) Railway Side, Mortlake, between its junction with White Hart Lane and a point 15 metres east of its eastern boundary of No. 3 Railway Side. (c) Riverside, Richmond, the south side (whole length). (d) White Hart Lane, the north-east side, between a point 5 metres north-west of the junction with Railway Side, Barnes and a point 5 metres south of that same junction. 5th November 1999.
