THE CAMDEN (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) (NO. 8) TRAFFIC ORDER 1999

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Camden on 29th October 1999 made the above-mentioned Orders. The details of which were previously published in The London Gazette on 1st October 1999, under Ref. No. 493. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to: Introduce bus lanes as part of the London Bus Priority Network and amend waiting restrictions accordingly in those lengths of carriageway in Schedule 1 to this notice; Amend the loading restrictions in those lengths of carriageway specified in Schedule 2 with the inclusion of a loading bay area specified in Schedule 2A to this notice; Prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Shoot-up-Hill from turning into Garlinge Road or any vehicle proceeding in Garlinge Road exiting out into Shoot-up-Hill; Prohibit any vehicle proceeding in a southerly direction in Kilburn High Road from turning right into Victoria Road. A copy of the Orders which will come into force on 8th November 1999, a plan and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders, may be inspected/purchased during normal office hours at the Environment Reception, Fifth Floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street Entrance, London WC1H 8EQ. Any person wanting to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof have not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. Kilburn High Road, the north-east side, between the common boundary of Nos. 300 and 302 Kilburn High Road and a point 9 metres north-west of the south-eastern boundary wall of No. 234 Kilburn High Road (The National Club). (ii) from a point 14 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos. 242 and 244 Kilburn High Road and the north-western kerb-line of Messina Avenue. Between 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and between 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.
