THE DISTRICT OF NORTH SOMERSET (C432 STATION ROAD, BUCKLANDS BATCH) SIDE ROADS AND OTHER WORKS ORDER 1998

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has confirmed with modifications the above-named Order which was made by the District Council of North Somerset under sections 14 and 125 of the Highways Act 1980 and which, as confirmed, authorises the Council: (a) to stop up private means of access to premises, and (b) provide new means of access to premises, all on or in the vicinity of the classified road known as the C432 Station Road, Bucklands Batch, Nailsea, which the Council propose to improve between Queens Road and the unnamed access road Nailsea and Blackwell Railway Station. Copies of the Order (as confirmed) and of the relevant plans may be seen at all reasonable hours, free of charge, at the offices of the District Council of North Somerset, Kings Court, High Street, Nailsea; District Council of North Somerset, Main Reception, Town Hall, Weston-super-Mare; and Nailsea Public Library, Somerset Square, Nailsea. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 21st October 1999, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order, or of any provision contained therein.
