THE A3 TRUNK ROAD (DENNIS AND ASH GROVE IMPROVEMENT) SIDE ROADS ORDER 1999
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under sections 14 and 125 of the Highways Act 1980 at Guildford in the county of Surrey which will authorise them to: (a) improve a length of highway; (b) stop up lengths of highway; (c) provide new highways; (d) stop up private means of access to premises; (e) provide new private means of access to premises. All at Ash Grove Woodbridge and provide for the transfer of the new highway to Surrey County Council as highway authority from the date on which he notifies them that it has been completed and is open to traffic. Copies of the draft Order and the plan referred to in it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours from 1st October 1999 to 26th November 1999 or within 8 weeks from the date of first publication of this notice, if that period expires later, at Surrey County Council’s Business and Information Support Centre, County Hall, Pennyn Road, Kingston-upon-Thames KT1 2DN; at the offices of the Clerk and Solicitor, Guildford Borough Council, Millmead House, Millmead, Guildford, Surrey GU2 5BB; at Guildford County Information Centre, Guildford Library, North Street, Guildford, Surrey; also at the Highways Agency, Room 5/46 a St. Christopher House, Southwark Street, London SE1 0TE; and at the Highways Agency, Project Services Operations Division, Room 3 c, Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1SZ. Copies of the draft Order the title of which is “The A3 Trunk Road (Dennis and Ash Grove Improvement) Side Roads Order 199 ” can be obtained from the Agency’s Project Services Operations Division, Room 3 b Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1SZ. Any person may object to the making of any of this Order not later than 26th November 1999, or within 8 weeks from the date of the first publication of this notice if that period expires later, by notice to the Secretary of State at the office of the Divisional Director, Highways Agency, Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1SZ, quoting reference HA 14/PS/256 and stating the grounds of the objection. In the preparation of an objection and the statement of grounds of objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.
