THE STOPPING UP OF HIGHWAYS (COUNTY OF NORFOLK) (NO. 2) ORDER 1999
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that, on the application of Great Yarmouth Borough Council, he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping-up of Highway (County of Norfolk) (No. 2) Order 1999” authorising the stopping up of an area of all purpose highway in front of the Town Hall, Hall Quay, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, to enable development consisting of the creation of a pedestrian access ramp to main entrance with metal railings and lighting to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to and by Great Yarmouth Borough Council on 2nd November 1998, under Ref. 06/98/0233/SU. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the East of England (Planning and Transport), Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL, (quoting GT/U2615/35/1/03) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Great Yarmouth Borough Council, Town Hall, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk NR30 2QF. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provisions contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or that any requirement of that Act, or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of the 13th August 1999 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
